TRIO Greater Cleveland Chapter The idea for such a group originated in Pittsburgh, 1987. The Greater Cleveland Chapter was the first to be chartered from TRIO in June, 1989. This was followed very quickly by TRIO Mahoning Valley. However, as first we have to thank some of the charter members who got together and hashed out the specifics and agreed a group like this was needed in Cleveland to help make us first in line of forty-some world wide chapters now. TRIO Greater Cleveland Chapter services the northeast Ohio area. Candidates, recipients, donors, donor families and interested professionals with the most popular member, our care-givers comprise the TRIO membership. TRIO members meet for events such as social gatherings – After Holiday Dinner Party and June Annual Meeting; fund raisers – Northfield Race Track Night at the Races; educational meetings with speakers advising us on topics from living wills to good dental care to pharmaceutical breakthroughs; and Dines Outs at local eateries. |
